**MEDIA ALERT** Rep. Huelskamp to visit Fort Riley and Irwin Army Community Hospital
WASHINGTON – Congressman Tim Huelskamp (KS-01) will be visiting Fort Riley on Tuesday February 18th from 1:30-2:30PM. Congressman Huelskamp is scheduled to meet with Col. Barry Pockrandt, Commander of Irwin Army Community Hospital and representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs and Medical Department Activity (MEDDAC) Transition Services. During the visit, Congressman Huelskamp will receive an update about the new hospital under construction and learn more about how the Department of the Army is working with the VA to transition soldiers from active duty to civilian life.
Congressman Huelskamp is a member of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs and is also a member of the Subcommittee on Health and the Subcommittee on Oversight & Investigations.
