Congressman & His Family Rejected by ObamaCare
WASHINGTON – Congressman Tim Huelskamp (KS-01) announced today that he and his family received a rejection notice from the DC Health Link after attempting to obtain healthcare coverage as required under ObamaCare.
In response to this rejection notice, Representative Huelskamp made the following statement:
“Since 12:05 a.m. on October 1st, I have been attempting to comply with ObamaCare. Finally, I was able to submit successfully our family’s application for the ObamaCare exchange on December 9th.
“Now, like millions of my fellow Americans, my family and I have been removed from a plan we liked and then been rejected by ObamaCare. It is obvious: Obama’s signature legislation is already harming millions of American families just like mine.
“In just nine days, Americans who have been promised coverage by Obama may show up to their doctor and find out there is no ObamaCare coverage. While he and his family vacation in Hawaii at taxpayer expense, Obama’s likely response to this crisis for American families will be as meaningless as his symbolic ‘sign-up’ today for ObamaCare.”
