Huelskamp Announces January Town Halls

(DODGE CITY, KAN.) – On the eve of being sworn in for his second term to the U.S. House of Representatives, Kansas First District Congressman Tim Huelskamp announced that he will continue the tradition of his first term of hosting a town hall in each of the First District's counties. In the 112th Congress, Huelskamp represented 69 counties; following the decennial redistricting, Huelskamp will represent 65 of the state's 105 counties. Huelskamp will launch his first round of town halls on January 9, 2013 with town halls in Lyon, Chase, and Marion Counties; he will host a town hall in Dickinson County on January 11. Constituents with questions about the town halls should contact Huelskamp's Salina office at 785-309-0572.

"The 140 town halls I conducted during my first term provided invaluable instructions about how to best represent the 700,000 Kansans I have the privilege of serving in Washington," Huelskamp said. "I look forward to continuing my tradition of open town halls in which constituents can provide their feedback, ideas, and opinions."
