How Many Days Has It Been?
One of the major constitutional functions of the United States Senate is to take part in the budget process. House Republicans approved a budget for the current fiscal year - which began on October 1, 2012, yet Senate Democrats have refused to pass a budget, let alone debate one. The Senate has not passed a budget since April 29, 2009.
